ANNUAL BALL.

From as far afield as Ashburton, Greymouth and Waimate, visitors gathered at the Winter Garden last night, to attend the annual ball of the Christchurch branch of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, and there could be no doubt that all enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The members of the committee, to whose efforts the success of the ball was due, were, Miss Marjorie Nelson, Messrs W. Ivillner (honorary secretary), J. Y. Allen, D. W. Scott and J. Manchester.
