Each of 2000 golf clubs in Britain have been asked to subscribe £2 each yearly to establish a board of research for scientific investigation of greenkeeping problems, on which at present £1,000,000 a year is being spent. Acknowledged experts of the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural colleges and the Rothamsted Experimental Station are co-operating.—Australian Press Association.
