STATION 3ZC.
To the Editor. Dear Sir, —Allow me space to comment on what appeared to me a very uncalled for letter on the management of the above station. I refer to a letter which appeared in Saturday’s issue of the “Star’ ’signed “Crystal.” Speaking as one who has the whole of the Australian and New Zealand Class A stations within range I consider 3ZC one of the foremost in Australia and New Zealand/ “Crystal” would appear to have a personal grudge against the station director, and I would suggest that he would at least look more of a sport if he refrained from personalities, when he himself hides behind anonymity. 3ZC has struck a big patch of trouble lately and when one considers it has no support from listeners it is in my opinion the least those listeners can do to be grateful for their efforts. I would suggest that “Crystal” goes in for a valve set. He would then be in a position to listen to other stations and compare them with 3ZC In conclusion I venture *to say that “Crystal’s” attack on the station director is very stupid especially when one considers the very excellent work this small station has done in the way of assisting charity.—l am, etc., FIVE VALVE.
