CLOSING HOURS FOR SALE OF TOBACCO. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 28. The Labour Department is taking proceedings against a number of small shopkeepers for failing to close at the proper times. Some sixty cases were down for hearing to-day, but owing to the fact that notification has received of intention to defend some of them, all were adjourned till Friday next.
