SIR HEATON RHODES WILL ATTEND THE FUNCTION TO AIRMEN.

An invitation was extended to the Prime Minister and Mrs Coates to represent the Government at the citizens’ ball to the Tasman flyers on Thursday evening. The Prime Minister was asked that, failing his being able to attend, he should depute a member of the Cabinet to take his place. Mr Coates has advised Mr Climie that Sir Heaton Rhodes will represent the Government both at the ball and at the other functions prior to the departure of the Southern Cross.
