OTHER PLACES WISH TO SEE SOUTHERN CROSS.
TRIP NORTH MAY BE PLANNED TO PLEASE AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. The widespread desire on the part of people in all parts of the country to see
the Southern Cross is evidenced by the number of invitations that have been extended to the airmen through Mr P. R. Climie for the Southern Cross to pass over certain towns on its flight to Blenheim. An effort is being made to arrange for the Southern Cross, after leaving Wigram Aerodrome, to circle over Lyttelton and Greater Christchurch, and to pass over Rangiora (where the jubilee celebrations will be in progress), Culverden and Kaikoura. No decision can be come to until Squadron-Leader Kingsford Smith and Flight-Lieutenant Ulm have been consulted.
