NO QUORUM FOR CREDITORS’ MEETING.
Owing to there not being a quorum a meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of George Francis Walls, contractor. of Cheviot, which was called for this morning, could not be held. Two creditors came to Christchurch from Cheviot to attend the meeting, but although efforts were made to secure a quorum, no others arrived within the statutory time limit. The statement of bankrupt’s financial position showed a deficiency of £l7l 0s BJd. The assets were set down at £395 12s, comprising stock-in-trade at Domett £3S4. and book debts £l2 ss. The total amount owing to unsecured creditors was shown as £567 5s Shd.
