Establishment ofc a household school at Stew Point (Peel Forest) has been approved by the Canterbury Education Board, which has decided to recommend the proposal to the Department. It is stated that a suitable teacher is available. The buildings committee of the Canterbury Education Board reported as follows to the meeting of. the board to-day: The Department wrote acknowledging receipt of the board’s letter expressing regret at the misunderstanding that arose with regard to the type of fresh air school erected at Linwood Avenue." The report was adopted.
