In the Supreme Court at Auckland. Thomas Mervyn May. aged twenty, for unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged fourteen, was sentenced to two years' Borstal treatment. Alexander Lenne, aged twenty-six, for attempted carnal knowledge of a girl under fifteen, was sentenced to twelve months' reformative detention.
