DREW £7 FOR CABLES THAT WERE NOT SENT.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 7. By over-charging for cables and putting in slips for cables he never sent, Cecil Edward Fuller, a clerk, aged twenty-nine, stole £79, 3s Id from Samuel Brown, Ltd., between September, 1926, and September, 1927. It was stated that on the first day Fuller had charge of the books he put through £7 worth of cables that were never sent.

Accused pleaded guilty to-day, and was committed for sentence. He said that he had married at £3 a week while in the firm’s employ'.
