TIMARU BOWLING TOURNEY CONTINUED YESTERDAY.
The South Canterbury Bowlins: Centre's annual tournament was continued yesterday at the Timaru green. The weather was dull, but warm. Play during the day was confined to the semifinals of the rinks and pairs. A number of fine games were witnessed. The finals will be played to-morrow. The singles will be played to-day. Results:— SOUTH CANTERBURY RINKS. First round—O’Hagan 8, Carlton 7. Second round—Bradley 20. Thomson 18; Slater 25, Innes 23; Moyes 21, Dewar 19: Efford 18, O’Hagan 15. Semi-final—Moyes 20, Slater 18; Efford 19, Bradley 18. SOUTH CANTERBURY PAIRS. First round—Allan 29, Hartley 9; Boyce 27, Collett 21.
