ELIMINATION OF SMUT CAUSES INCREASE IN N.S.W. WHEAT CROP.

The Director of Agriculture estimates that the elimination of smut in wheat has added two bushels an acre to the State’s normal wheat yield, or 7,000,000 bushels, to the value of £1,750.000.
