AGAINST EMPLOYMENT OF MARRIED WOMEN.

Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N., June 23. The School Committees’ Association discussed the question of married women teachers in schools and passed a resolution that the Education Department be recommended that legislation be introduced providing for the employment of married women only in cases where their husbands are unable to support them. A resolution supporting Mr Isitt’s Bill providing for the introduction of Religious Exercises in primary schools was carried.
