NORTH CANTERBURY BATHS OPENED IN COLD WEATHER.
The official opening of the North Canterbury Swimming < lub s season took place at Rangiora this afternoon, although the cold weather made it. necessary to postpone the programme arranged for the occasion. The ceremony was performed by the president, Mr Walter Johnson, who said he hoped that (he resuscitated club would progress in the measure it depatron. Dr T. A. W ill and Councillor C. W. Tyler also spoke.
