MONDAYISING OF ANZAC DAY NOT WANTED BY R.S.A.
AMENDMENT TO BANKING ACT IS ASKED FOR. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. June 4. The Dominion Council of the R.S.A. has decided to request committees of bankers and Employers’ Associations to co-operate with the Association with a view to introducing legislation providing for an amendment to the Banking Act and existing legislation to provide that a bank holiday shall not be observed on a Monday when Anzan Day falls on a Sunday.
