COMMUNISTS MORE LIKELY TO ACCEPT LLOYD GEORGE
SCATHING COMMENT BY RAMSAY MACDONALD. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. . Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received June 4. 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, June 3. The rumour that Kir Lloyd George had turned over to the Labour Party is disposed of by a letter he has written to the assistant Liberal whip, declaring that the story is foolish and hardly worth contradicting. He says he is not a Socialist but a Liberal. Kir Ramsay MacDonald, in a speech at, Port Talbot, ridiculed the idea of Mr Lloyd George becoming a Labourite. He said the Communist Party was more likely to receive one so flighty and so accustomed to freedom in handling moral issues.
