AUSTRALIAN TARS ALL FEEL PLEASED.

APPRECIATE PLANS FOR THEIR ENJOYMENT. All hands on the Australian warships were busy cleaning ship this morning, prior to the opening of the cruisers for public inspection this afternoon. Petty officers and bluejackets, in conversation with a reporter, were unanimous in expressing appreciation, of the hospitality shown by the Christchurch public. A petty officer said:

“I wish you would express through your paper the appreciation of the crew of the Adelaide for the very fine arrangements made for our welcome. Last evening’s function at Jellieoe Hall left nothing to be desired'. The only complaint I can make is that the hall was too small to hold the large crowd present.”
