CAR SOMERSAULTS OVER EMBANKMENT.

Per Press Association. TAURANGA, November 19. A motoring accident occurred yesterday afternoon on a narrow embankment on the road between Tauranga and Rotorua. Sam Andecson, a wellknown horseman, of Ilawera, accompanied by two friends, motored from Hamilton yesterday to visit relatives here, and left in the afternoon for Rotorua. The car struck a rut on the narrow embankment and swerved off, making a double somersault down the bank. Miss Gilbert, of Hamilton, one of the occupants, suffered cuts and bruises and is in hosital, but Anderson and the other passenger escaped injury.
