CANADIAN NEWSPRINT FOR NEW ZEALAND.

OTTAWA. October 10. The New Zealand Newspaper Proprietors’ Association is asking Canadian mills for tenders for the supply of newsprint.' Both New Zealand and Australia are buying increasing quantities from Canada, and indications are not lacking that before long Canada will have completely absorbed that trade. During the last fiscal year 10.26 S tons of Canadian newsprint were shipped to New Zealand, and 555 tons to Australia. During July this year New Zealand alone took 974 tons.
