MARITANA JAZZ CLUB.

Dixieland was the scene of a very successful function, when the Maritaua Jazz Club gave another of its popular carnival dances. The ballroom was very effectively decorated with coloured lights and streamers, and the walls ! were a mass of japonica. The rays of the jazz lantern, flashing over the dancers, had a fine effect* The novelty • dances were very much appreciated, and caused, much merriment.
