WEDDING.

A NG rS—OPPEN HEIM. A wedding was solemnised at St Luke’s Alanchester Street, on Wednesday, the contracting parties being William Melville, eldest son of Air and Airs J. Angus, Richardson Terrace, Opawa. and Ivey, twin daughter of Airs Oppenheini. 38, Thornton Street, St A! bans, and of the late Ernest Oppenheini, of Lees ton. The officiating clergyman was Archdeacon Taylor. The bride, who entered the/ehureh on the arm of her brother-in-law. Air W. I*. Olsen, who subsequently gave, her away, looked charming in a simple frock of ivory .soilpie satin, beautifully embroidered in pearls. Her veil was held in place by tassels of pearls, and she car ried a shower bouquet of hot-house flowers. She was attended by her twin sister, Myrtle, wlio- wore a handsome frock of deep salmon jersey silk, richly embroidered in navy blue. Her hat was of black crinoline, smartly trimmed with flowers. She carried a bouquet of pink and cream flowers. Air George Grace acted as best man. After the wedding a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s mother, where a daintv breakfast was served. Later in the day Mr and Mrs Alelville Angus left for their wedding trip, the bride wearing a, smartly tailored navy costume with corded silk toque to match, and a black fur coat, the gift of the bridegroom.
