R.S.A. DANCE

The first dance for the winter season of the R.S.A. Club was an unqualified success. There was a full attendance, a good floor and an excellent supper. Aliss McDonald’s orchestra played the It test dances and the stage was prettily decorated. The chaperons were Airs B- B. Smith, who wore black satin and lace with handsome floral lace panel down the front; Mrs T. Tomli nson, a Landsome dress of black net and radium l.ioe; Airs Edmonds, dress of ivory t. acraine lace and handsome gold embossed cloak ; Mrs J. S- Neville, black channeuae with black Spanish fringe -and pink ro-w> at the waist: Mrs Kelly, mole accordion-pleated georgette vith vest of Liberty silk. Among the th© many present were:—Airs Arnold Ileanland, in black satin and lace with folded sa»sh of jnd* green satin; Aliss M Arthur, black souple satin, corsage and waterfall side panels of beautiful Oriental satin ; Miss G. Watson, mauve crepe de chine with panels of georgette traded in crystal and silver : Aliss Jarman, pale blue charmeuse. loose side panels and primrose sash; Miss R. . AVrigbton, fehell pink crepe de chine, swathed sa*h lined with pale blue; Airs Crooks black crepe do chine with blue opal-e.-coTit trimming and motif in front of bodice: Aliss Iris Robinson, amethyst ci ope de chine, loose panels, sash tied in big bow at back. Chapman, flame taceta, large silver lily at waist, sleeve composed of narrow ruche: Alisa E Chapman, lemon satin and radium lace piped with cerise knot of flowers on shoulders; Miss Hazel Robinson, mauve souple satin embroidered in silk ol same colour; Aliss Peggy Cairns, champagne crepe de chine and primrose ninon draperies; Alias G. Al Vizor, mauve georgette. mauve satin running round skirt, folded satin ?pah tying in long bow and ends at the left side; V. Sellars, pale blue georgette over flounce of silver lace, vest of silver lace and garniture of flowers : F. Hobson, blue crepe de chine with pretty full skirt; AI. Smith, pretty and becoming frock of apricot taffeta ornamented with wreaths of rosebuds, bodice embroidered with silver beads; A Campbell, pale pink taffeta radium relieved with grey on the corsage l>elt of red and gold beads, scolloped skirt ; I?
