Time—4min 2sec. TRIAL HANDICAP, of 110 sovs. One mile and a half. The Painter, scr . - . 1 Tvcnglen, scr . . • . 2 Pearl Coronado, scr . . 3 Sera tched—W ikl wood, Wairo arere and Harry Audubon. Won by lour lengths. Time—3miu 42sec. TRENTHAM NOTEB. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 18. This was an off morning at Trentham. Several of the previous day’s arrivals were restricted to easy work on the tan. Nursing Sister went five furlongs in lmin 3 2-ssec, Liqueur and Songbird six furlongs in Imiu 17 2-ssec, and Mantua seven furlongs in lmm 38 1-osee.
