Natal in the first innings made 1(54, Taylor 65, Nourae B 9 and Carter 14. Bowline analysis— Gregory six for 59, Mailey four for 88. Australia in the second innings have lost three wickets for 182, Collins 30. Mayne 31, Macartney not out 67, Ryder not out 62. Rain fell over the week-end and the wicket was wet and the outfield heavy. After a cautious opening Taylor and Nouree played free, all round attractive cricket. The third wicket fell at 122, the pair adding 96. Gregory, and Mailey were iu great form and made short work of the others. The Australians lost the first three wickets for 65.
