TO-DAY'S CASES. CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S JVf.) VAGRANCY. Alexander Thompson appeared on remand on a charge of being a (rogue and a vagabond in that he was found by night without lawful excuse in the timber yard of England and Son, Sfi Asaph Street. Accused was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment. Dorothy Elileen Green, a young woman, who was remanded yesterday on a charge of being an idle and disorderly person in that she had insufficient lawful visible means of support, was admitted to probation for two years. JUVENILE COURT. (Before Mr S. E. M’Carthy, 8.M.) A boy twelve years of age, who had been licensed out from the Christchurch Receiving Horne, was charged with having on September 15 at Sydenham stolen a bicycle valued at £5 10s, the property of a person unknown. The boy pleaded guilty and the Magistrate ordered that he should be recommitted to tho Receiving Home.
