G.F.S. HOSTEL.
OPENING CEREMONY. Yesterday afternoon, in the presence of a, large number of tho clergy and visitors, the Dean of Christchurch opened Aberda.ro House, which has been ' purchased by the Girls' Friendly Society tor its lodge. As the sphere'of workis now. widened, and in order to help meet the needs of immigration, it is called "The Church of England Hostel tor Girls and G.i'.S. Lodge," where all girls are welcome, priority being g ' vt ; n t ° w,lr ; y - members and members of the Church of England. Afternoon tea was dispensed.
