WHANGAREI SUICIDE.

CHARGE OF ABETTING FAILS. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 12. At the Supreme Court to-day in the case of Pearl Burke, charged with aiding and abetting Jessie AVest to commit suicide at AVhangarei, the Grand Jury returned no bill. His Honor agreed with the finding, stating that it seemed to him that the woman who committed suicide was the leading mind, and the accused an entirely passive one. The accused was discharged.
