AVONSIDE BURGESSES ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annua! meeting of the Avonsido Burgesses' Association was held last cvecin;;, Mr W. J. Jeukin presiding. Tho report detailed the matter?! dealt with during the year, and stated that the membership now stood c.i eighty-eight. Clark, in moving the adoption of the report and baiane-otneet, made eulogistic references to the good work accomplished Lv Mr Jeukin for the welfare of Avousido during the past year. Tho report and balancn-shect were adopted. The chairman said tha past year had been a successful one, and he hoped that tho future efforts of the association would meet with like success. He outlined tho work to bo dealt with during tho current year, the subjects including the high pressure water supply and the underground sewage system. A committee was set up to revise the district electors' roll. Officers wre elected as follow: Patron, Mr Walter Hill; president, Mr W; J' ln * kin; vice-presidents. Messrs T. "Wilson, W. Pemberthy and E. Moss; committee, Messrs J. Tretheway, J. Coleman, \Y. Yardwood, M. Clark, S. C. Dixou, J. L. Htinear, J. X. Stinear* R. Carter, S. Hitch, D. thimphy and H. carter; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. H. Milner.
