By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received December 19, 0.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 19. A proclamation has been issued seizing all wheat in Southern Riverina not in actual transit. Mr W. G. Ashford, Minister of Agriculture, estimates that New .South Wales next vear's wheat yield will be p0.000.000 bushels. The additional 800,000 acres sown should produce 10,000,000 bushels. WELLINGTON. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 19. Sales.—Bank of New Zealand £9 18s 6d, Union Bank £53. Westport Coal £1 10s, Talisman £1 6s 6d. LOCAL MARKETS. Messrs J. B. Merrett and Co. report a very heavy yarding of poultry, close on 5000 birds being penned. A large, majority of the birds were stores, and no good for Christmas use. Those who had taken special pains to prune off their birds realised excellent prices. Quotations were i —Table chickens, 5s 6d to 10s 3d; table ducklings, 6s to 9s 4d; goslings, us to 10s 6d; hens, 2s to 4s 6d; pullets, 3s to 7s 6d; turkeys, 9s to 37s per pair. The egg market is well supplied, but the clem and'is not equal to what it was last vear. Canterbury Egg Circle, first grade realised Is 2d to Is 3d, seconds and -stores Is Id per dozen. A B. Sands and Go. repvt a very heavy yarding at their yards to-day, wlfen prices were a trifle easier than the previous week's. Hens remained at about the same orice, prune chickens were firm, and old ducks much easier; prime ducklings realised good money. Following are tho prices :—Prime table chickens 4s 6d to 9s Id, hens 2s 3d to 3s 3d,.ducks 3s 6d to Bs, geese bs 3d to 10s 6d; all at per .pair. ' BAKER. BROS., TLTE HOME FINDERS.
