DISASTROUS OUTBREAK. [Per Prebs Association.] • • FEILDING, Slay 13. A disastrous fire occurred at Kimbolton at 2.30 this morning, by which d number of premises were destroyed. The fire began at Poole's Hall, occu- : pied by Mr A. P. Hailey, as a motor " garage. A strong wind assisted the and the garage was quickly demolished. The fire spread to the ' premises of Sir R. Patterson, saddler, and then to a dwelling occupied by Sir Satchell. . The next to go was the fine two-storeyed Post Office, finished ir, 1908. The postmaster's residence v was also demolished, the occupier hav- - Ing been in charge only a week. Slost of his furniture was lost. Sir Hailey lost two cars. The insurances are: — Boole's Hall, £3OO in the New Zealand Office; Sir Hailey,- £2OO on one motorcar and £IOO on the stock and plant in the New Zealand Office, and £4OO on ■ the other car in another . office; Mr Patterson, £225 in ■the New Zealand Office and £75 in the Bonith British; Sir Chittenden, £l5O on Jus furniture in the State Office.
