Tho widow of tho late Charles Conder, tho artist, who was for some years in Australia, died in London, as the result of burns. She was smoking a. cigarette in bed, and the bedclothes and her nightdress caught fire. FATAL QUARRY ACCIDENT. (Received April 23, 9.40 a.m.) BRISBANE, April 2:1. An accident has occurred at Cloncurry. involving the death of four men. Tho men were working in an open cut in a limestone quarry when one. hundred and fifty tons of limestone fell, burying them all. Two of the moil. Brown and Donaghuo, were killed instantly. The other two, Wilson and Cordillv, succumbed to their injuries after being rescued.
