Messages received in Paris show that those murdered at Fea include the "Matin's" correspondent and his wife. The newspapers tmblish terrible narratives of savagery and unbridled license lasting three days, the Jews being particularly singled'out. Many victims were thrown froui the housetops. Girls were violated. Four thousand Jews took refuge in the Palace. The French troops killed 800 rioters.

The French losses were nineteen killed and 110 wounded. Thirteen French civilians were killed.
