Thirty-five persons were killed during a tornado in Illinois and North-west Indiana. Tho village of Busli was completely destroyed. Miles of telephones were blown down, and a farmhouse was lifted bodily. Electric-car linos fell in many cities, and several persons were electrocuted. One party took refuge in a deserted house, but falling trees crushed the structure, all of the party, numbering fivo, being killed.
