TEKAIIA LADIES' CLUB. The fifth annual meeting of the Tekaha Ladies' Hockey Cliib wais held at Lyttelton on Saturday evening, Mr T. Gillaixl being in the chair. The annual report showed the club to be iri a strong financial position. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year :—Patron, the Rev. J. Bates; president, the Hon G. Laurenson; vice-presidents, the Rev R. F. Rothwell, Dr New all, Dr Upham, Dr Guthrie, Captain R. Hatchwell, Messrs o', Ferrier, F. Vollens, L. Jory, R. Boyd, W. Foster and C. Mazey; captain, Misfi D. Harte; vice-captain, Miss N. Jory; secretary, Miss R. Stenson; treasurer, Miss L. Stenson; Selection Committee, Blisses D. Harte, R. Stenson and N. Jory; delegates to tho Ladies' Hockey Association, Misses Harte and Jorv. The opening day was fixed for Saturday next. KAIAPOI CLUB. The annual meeting of the Kaiapoi Hockey Club was held 011 Friday evening. Mr A. H. Hayman occupied the chair, and a fair number of members attended. The report and balance- ! sheet, which were adopted, showed that there was a credit balance of £3 ss. The election 01" oflicens resulted as follows:—Patrons, the Hon D. Buddo, MP., and Mr R. More; president, Mr E' E Papprill; vice-presidents, Messrs J.' H. Black well, G. H. Blackwell, R. Wylie, I). Richardson and C. F. Sneyd; captain, Mr J. A. Mealings; vice-captain, Mr J. Wylie; secretary, Mr J. A. Mealings; treasurer, Mr A. H. Hayman; Management Committee, Messrs R. H. Croft- and F. Wvlie; Selection Committee, Mcissrs F, Wylie, R. H. Croft and J. A. Mealings. It was decided to enter a junior team for the Hockey Association's Thursday competitions. The sum of £1 Is was voted to both the secretary and treasurer. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the Rangiora members for their unfailing attendance at the various matches. Six new members were elected.
