MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
TEMUKA CITIZENS' CLUB. The annual meeting of the Temuka Citizens' Miniature Rifle Club was held on Friday evening. Mr G. Lar.gford occupied the chair. The annual report, submitted by the secretary, Mr E. Pridham, showed that the club commenced with a membership of forty. Thanks were due to Colonel Hayhurst, who had donated two rifles. The club was in a. sound financial jrosition. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £2 13s Bd, and assets amounting to £l3 13s Cd. The report and balance-sheet wero adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Colonel Hayhurst; president, Hon T. Buxton; vice-presidents, Mr E. James and Drs Rugg and Curtis; chairman, Mr E. Pridham; committee, Messrs F. Wurm, AY. Webb, G-. Langford, V. Nfeholas, and T. Creevey; secretary and treasurer, Mr F. Smith. Ten new members were elected. Messrs E. Pridham and F. Smith were elected delegates to the South Canterbury Miniature Rifle Association.
