MOUNT HERBERT COUNTY-' SPORTS. The Mount Herbert County Sports Club held its thirteenth annual sports on Thursday on the Governor's Bay Domain, The weather was perfect, and there was a large gathering of people from the various bays. The programme was a Ion,? one, but the various events were got off in good time. The clerk of the course, Mr W. J. A. Clay, Mr F. Tapley, treasurer, and Mr W. A. Carpenter, honorary secretary, worked very hard and .it was largely due to their efforts that the sports were so successful. In tho evening tho usual ball was held, and was well attended. The following are the results, the number of starters being given in parentheses:—
