FOOTBALL.
The annual meeting of the Dnnsandel Football Club was.held on Saturday evening in the Library. There was a good attendance, and Mr D. P. Cameron, vice-president, occupied the chair. The report stated that there were fifty-six members, last year and that the Junior fifteen had won the Ellesmere Sub-Union's shield for the second time in succession. The balance sheet showed a credit of £l6 2s sd. The following officers were elected:—Patrons, Mr C. A. C. Hardy, M.P., Mr R. H. Rhodes, M.P.; president, Mr G. S. Boag; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Henderson, S. G. M'Cullough, P. Lill, T. Irvine, F. Wiltrock, A. C. Hullet, D. Cameron, N. J. Brown, H. F. Wright, C. A. Wright, D. W. Westenra, D. M'llwraith and J. Walker; captain, Mr T. Jamieson; vice-captain, Mr A. Brown; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. K. Cameron; selection committee, captain, vice-cap-tain and secretary; general committee, Messrs D. P. Cameron, J. Rourke, R. D. Jones and James Walker. It was decided to ask Messrs H. F. Wright, F. Lill and T. Irvine to act as referees for the incoming season, and to donate the sum of £2 2s to the Ellesmere Sub-Union.
