On the charge of drunkenness he was fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. —Victor George Gardiner, with one previous conviction, was fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment.—George Lester Burton, a second offender, appeared after having spent a fortnight in the hospital. The police stated that he had been found in a drain in the park, and was so ill that he had been taken to the hospital. Accused objected to a prohibition order against himself, saying that it was not in accordance with his politics. Ho was ordered to pay 7s (3d fee for the ambulance, and was given a fortnight in which to find tho money, in. default fortv-oight hours' imprisonment.
