MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
The memhaTi' of the Linwood Riflfi Ladies' Miniature Rifle C'ub fired tha sixth of a series of competitions at tlio range in the corps' orderly-room on July 28. Excellent scoring was made and the la-dies, whoa.ro firing under the same conditions as tlie men, that is, without resting the rifle, are fast approaching the form shown bv the men's team. In a recent comwetition Miss Norman scored the possible, Mrs G. Osrden made within two of the maximum points._ and Mrs Peacock was but three away; while in last week's match Miss Norman. Miss M. "Williamson and Mrs Bvere+t each scored 68 oui of 70, and Mts G. Ord-n reeistered 67.
