The following are' the vital statistics for the Christchureh Registration District for July, those for the corresponding month of last year being also given:—/ 1910. 1909. ' Births ... . . • 192 186 Marriages . . . 66 57 Deaths . . . . 79 93
The deaths included sixteen children under one year of age. Twenty-one marriages were celebrated by the Registrar during the month —a record for the office.
