SALE OF PROPERTY AT METHVEN At tlie conclusion of the stock sale at Mothveu on Thursday, Mr Simes, auctioneer, submitted a blacksmith's shop and a quarter of an acre section In iVlethven township, , on account of Mr Ironsides. The lot was knocked down to Mr G. E. Goldsmith Stavely at '£3os. Two quarter-acre sections adjoining the above, also the property of Mr Ironsides, were then sold at £145 for the two. Mr Ironsides' dwelling, containing four rooms, with half an acre of land, realised £385, Dr James being the purchaser. 1866
