THE WRECKS AT WANGANUI.
[Peb Press Association.] WANGANUI, December 23. The scow Ururoa, which went ashore near the entrance a week ago, has been abandoned, and will be sold by auction n«xt week. The weather so far has been unfavourable for salvage operations in connection with the stranded and submerged Charles Edward, which appears to be settling deeper into the sandy Jbed near the breakwater.
