Mr Munro Ferguson, M.P., and other prominent Liberals are urging the Government to convene an Imperial Conference- to discuss the problem of Oriental immigration. Lord 'Ampthill contends that the question is over-ripe for settlement, and argues economio necessity and not racial prejudice is the root of the difficulty.
