Wheat. — The wheat markets ar c dull and dispirited Although Argentine shipments have been appreciably reduoed, prices are fairly steady. South Australian wheat, off coast, is held tor 35s 6d per quarter; early February 35s 9d. Flour is flat; Australian is neglected, with no business. The American visible supply of wheat is 50,098,000 bushels. , Copra.— The market is dujl; South Sea nominally £15 10s per ton. Butter. — There is a good demand for butter; Danish is hardening. Cheese.— The market is steady; New Zealand 61s and 625, Canada nominal 63s to 655. Sil ver ._2s 1 5-16 d per ounce. Copper.— On spot, £58 12s 6d per ton • three months, £59 2e 6d per ton. Tin.— On spot, £142 5s per ton; three months, £143 per ton. Lead.— £l3 12s 6d per ton. Iron.— £2 12s per ton. Sugar.— German, 11s 9d; firet marks, Wool.— The Bradford > wool market is unaltered, but dull, owing to the holiShares.— Waihi Junction, buyers 33s 9d, sellers 36s 2d.
