POLYGLOT CLUBS.
One of the most interesting features of the social life of Antwerp is tibe polyglot clubs for the mutual teaching of foreign languages, especially English, German, and Spanish. Members meet every week, .and aU the proceedings^ — lectures, readings, and conversation— are conducted in languages other than French or Flemish. Mistakes of pronunciation are corrected by those present in the most friendly manner. Tjhese clubs have given «. great stimulus to t'ha acquirement of foreign languages.
