CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLTJB. At the usual monthly meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club on Saturday, Mx G. G. Stead was elected chairman for the ensuing year. Jockeys' licenses were granted to W. J. Holmes and E. Langley. On the recommendation of the Westland Racing Club, the disqualification of Harold Knight was removed. The following transfers were agreed to : — From Mr W. G. Stead to Mr W. M. Watson, brown yearling colt by Lord Rosslyn — Lady Gertrude; from Mr G. G. Stead io Mt H.
