[Per Prkss Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 18. : Mr Jellicoe has written to the Minister of Justice asking for jui enquiry by Royal Commission (he suggests Mr Justice Williams) into the discipline and management of the Wellington prisons. He asserts that the Terrace and Point Halswell Prisons are overcrowded and lacking in means for the proper classification of prisoners, and also .that discipline is faulty and medical attendance insufficient.
