Friday, Sept. 16. (Before Mr S. R. Webb, J.P.) Drunkenness, &c. — Elizabeth Adams was charged with being disorderly while drunk and with using obscene • language. The accused, who had on the previous day been released from gaol after serving a month, was fined 10s for being drunk, and was sent to gaol for two months on the second charge. — Robert Lewis was charged with being disorderly while drunk, with resisting the police, and with using obscene language. Accused was fined 5s for being drunk and 40s for resisting the police, a conviction being entered against him for using obscene language.
