Friday, Sept. 16. ' ■ (Before Mr E. Curry, J.P., Mr W. H. Cooper, J. P., and Mr J. M. Douglas, J.P.) Drunkenness. —-Charles Hebden for this offence was fined 10s and costs, in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. —Two first offenders were fined 5s and costs. Drunk while in Charge of a Horse and Vehicle. —C. Bush was charged with thia offence, and, further, with driving a van over, the Colombo Street railway crossing when the train was approaching. After hearing tbe evidence the Bench dismissed both cases with a severe caution. Tbttancv. —Ellen Love was charged with not Bending her child to school. The case was dismissed. —Charles Yeadon (who did not appear) for disobeying an order of the Court made in this direction, was^ fined 10s and costs. Driving Cattle Through the Streets During Prohibited Hours. — Alfred Rump, who admitted this offence, was cautioned and dismissed. Unregistered Dogs.—Mrs Heslop was fined 5s and costs; C. Morris.(two dogs), 10s and costs; D. Anderson, 5s and costs; George Knox, 5h and costs. Casea against H. Baird, F. Holmes, F. Blumsky and J. Mussen were adjourned until Sept. 23, and a case against J. Yogel was dismissed.
