[Per Press Association. I NAPIER, March 18. Messrs Nelson Bros, have received the following cable message from London this morning : — Frozen meat market quotations —Mutton, unchanged; frozen lamb has fallen in value, first quality realising 4%& per Ib, and second quality 4£d.

The National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, haa received the following cablegram from its London office:-:- ; ••:••'■'. Cross-bred wool, finest grades,' and merino wool, all descriptions, show an advance of 5 per cent on last sales' closing rates. Cross-bred wool, all descriptions except the finest grades, weak at average rates of last sale.

Meesrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office under date March 16:— Since oxir last telegram the wool sales continue firm and active, with brisk competition. For the bulk of scoured merino wools prices are, on the average, 5 per cent to 8 per cent higher than the closing rates of last series; for greasy merino .fleece prices are irregular, but mostly 5 per cent higher ; for greasy merino broken fleece and pieces prices are 5 per cent to 8 per cent higher ; for the bulk of fine cross-bred wools prices are on a par with closing rates of last series ; and for the bulk of coarse cross-bred wools prices are, on the average, 5 per cent lower than closing rates of last series. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated March 16:— • "Since our last telegram the price of tallow in general is unchanged. There is a brisk demand without a quotable change in values."
